Google PageRank Outage: Glitch or Ditch?
Since about 3AM UK time, every website has a page rank of zero (including google.com, bbc.co.uk, facebook.com). This may be a glitch as it's only been a few hours, but if it's a deliberate ditch by Google to do away with PageRank, then this will effectively mean the biggest currency in the SEO industry has disappeared, and people will need to do more homework to evaluate the value of a page. I'll keep this blog entry updated.Update: PageRank hasn't been ditched, just a simple URL change to where PageRanks are looked up:-
