Even more plans for puresilva!
Here are planned updates to the puresilva website template - planned to implemented (all of them) by end of 2009:-Ability to sell affiliate products
This will allow the site owner to add a product as normal, including 4 images, product name, description etc but with an afiliate link instead of a "buy now" button. You could mix these up with your usual products or list them separately (using dynamic categories).Ability for other websites to sell YOUR products via affiliate links
This one is more involved and potentially very rewarding to the site owner. When this new feature is activated, website visitors can sign up as an affiliate and start linking to your products. You can set the percentage the affiliate would earn on each resulting sale (when someone clicks through from their link and makes a purchase on your site). Each affiliate would be sent an email everytime a purchase is made, and also an email on the 15th of each month announcing how much they have made in the previous month. Site owner would have a very simple view in the backoffice where they can see how much they owe each affiliate and when that payment needs to be made.Push messages
These will appear in "lightbox" fashion like this example : http://www.jobstamworth.com. You would be able to set the content of the pushed message - be it a survey, newsletter signup, general announcement. The push message could be set site-wide (for urgent announcements to visitors) or just for the home page.Advertising Module
Ability for website visitors to publish adverts on the site (similar to Google Adwords/Adsense). Payments to site owner would be scheduled monthly. Site owner sets monthly cost for text ad. Advertiser can publish and pay for their advert all by themselves. A working live example can be found on one of our sites here.Booking System
This would allow the site owner to rent/hire items. From hotel rooms to garden equipment to professional services. Site visitor browses products/services and can see a "check availability" link next to each hired item. Alternatively they can search by category dropdown menu/keyword/calendar combination to see what items are available and when. They can then book an item from date X to date Y. The booking can be paid for in the usual way (e.g. PayPal).Twitter Updates On Your Site
If you're a member of Twitter, this facility will allow you to publish your Twitter updates on your siteShare this article:
