Facebook Switch Breaks Websites

I've noticed when logged into Facebook, and visiting websites with Facebook Like buttons, there's a little square box with the word "Switch" in it - in place of the Facebook Like button. It looks like this :-

However, it also produces a a big white box below it that covers a large part of website content like this example on forbes.com like this:-

As you can see from the above image, the 100 inspirational quotes page is ruined by this - no inspiration to be had other than to logout of Facebook!

This problem has already been discussed here and here. The solution is to amend the Facebook plugin css with the following:-

}
